Who doesn’t want to be fit? We all do, but how? Yes, you read the title right, keto diets are what we are talking about here today. As a brand, at Keshia, we believe that it is our customers that fuel and drive our passion to derive new fashion, which is why we want our customers to stand out and stand tall and also get them to stay healthy. We see many people jumping onto the keto bandwagon, wanting to be that ‘fitgirl’, and a common theme for this seems to be a misconception that this particular keto diet helps you lose weight – which it certainly can but keto does more than just that. Some people have even gone as far as to claim that this diet helped them tremendously with their weight loss, like losing 10 pounds in just 2 to 3 weeks. But there is a more logical explanation for this and it is very likely that this weight loss is mostly just water weight, not fat melting away, meaning you stand to gain it back once you replenish fluids.

But furthermore, a keto diet, if followed correctly, does wonders for your body as you start to discover that you don’t necessarily get hungry frequently or you won’t find yourself getting random cravings. Studies have proven that people on such a diet stay more focused because of their energy levels due to their balanced diets and regular intake of high protein foods; thus you have more energy to perform tasks better. It’s a matter of eating better and focusing especially on what you eat, like fiber foods and low carb foods and pay attention to foods that are rich in magnesium and ones that are immune-boosting foods.

There is also the long-term benefit of lower blood pressure and this helps to reverse diabetes. All of this contributes to a better and healthier version of yourself – which is what we are aiming for.
